| Dr. Shade conducts reserach in teh areas of internal combustion engine emissions and performance at the Engine and Emissions Research Laboaratory within the National Research Centre for Alternative Fuels, Engines and Emissions. He previously worked for Mack Trucks Inc., where he focused on advanced valvetrain systems development and engine emissons certification. His research efforts include heavy-duty diesel engine development to meet regulatory emissions standards; measurement, characterization and control of heavy duty engine exhaust emissions; and instrumentation design and protocol development for in-use emissions testing of heavy-duty diesel engines. |
