Activities
All extracurricular student activities in the department are coordinated through student organizations that elect officers annually and enjoy guidance from a faculty advisor. Most student activities are voluntary, unremunerated, and carry no formal course load. Many students participate, as these activities give them hand on leadership experience and the satisfaction of volunteerism.
Student organizations such AIAA, ASME, SAE, and so on, are listed separately. Students are also involved in student projects. Student projects are listed separately, as they have an associated course load.
